Welcome to 30 Days of Hygge, Day 13!
Stargazing is one of my favorite things to do, regardless of what time of year it is. I once bundled up to go out and look at the stars on a night when it got down to -29ºF (yes, that’s a negative sign in front of that 29). When it’s that cold, the air is so crisp and clear that you can see more stars than any other time. Like, an almost unbelievable number of stars.
Thankfully, it’s not going to be -29ºF tonight, so I can go look at the stars without having to bundle up quite so much. And by some miracle, it’s also supposed to be clear tonight (I couldn’t have planned with calendar better if I’d had a crystal ball).
Grab a blanket and bundle up (if it’s cold where you live), grab someone to snuggle with if you want, and find a spot without a ton of light pollution to spend an hour or two stargazing tonight.
